Intro to Florida Foraging - Sunday, May 4, 1-3 p.m.
The Florida Subsistence Series aims to inspire and empower a resistance to the modern food system, which has created a growing disconnect between people and their food. Throughout history, being directly involved with the foods we consume has been a vital and fulfilling part of the human experience - one that many have recently lost.
The first experience of this series will help participants rediscover the incredible edible resources growing all around us. Foraged plants and fungi can bring unique flavors and variety to the meals that nourish us. With the right knowledge, foraging can happen almost anytime, anywhere.
This experience will be held on Sunday, May 4, 1-3 p.m. at St. Pete Ferment + Queen & Colony Shop located at 326 DR MLK JR STREET N. St. Petersburg, Fl 33705
