FAQ
Shipping
How are shipping rates calculated?
Shipping rates are calculated as a flat rate and are based on the weight of the products ordered and the region with which your order will be shipped to.
When should I expect to receive my order?
You order will usually get processed within 1-4 days of order placement. Expect your order to arrive within 3-5 business days from the shipment date.
Honey & Infants
Is it true that I shouldn’t feed honey to my baby?
Honey should not be fed to infants under 1 years of age. Clostridium bacteria that cause infant botulism usually thrive in soil and dust. They also can be found in some foods — including honey.
Honey & Crystallization
Is it okay to eat honey that has crystallized?
Yes, crystallization is the natural process of the sugars separating in raw honey. It is perfectly fine, and delicious, to eat. If you would like to liquify your honey to its original state, simply place the glass jar of honey in a pan of warm water (about 105 degrees F) for about 20 minutes or until the honey crystals liquify.
Wholesale Inquiries
Do you sell honey wholesale?
Yes, we do sell our honey wholesale to select retailers. Wholesale inquiries can be made by sending us an email.
Locations
Can we tour your bee farm?
We do not have a bee farm in the traditional sense that most people imagine. We practice urban beekeeping, keeping bees in backyards and business properties throughout the cities of the Tampa Bay region. These property owners are generous enough to allow us to keep our bees on their properties. For liability purposes we cannot bring groups of people to most of our locations. We do however offer periodical beekeeping classes with hands on training included. To learn about upcoming classes go to our Get Started Beekeeping page.
Do you have a storefront location?
Not yet. We have a honey extraction room in a warehouse for harvesting honey, and we rent a commercial kitchen for bottling. Most of our business is currently done from our home in St. Petersburg, Fl. As we grow, we would like to get our own facility to house offices, equipment storage, honey extraction, bottling, and retail.
